Celebrating All Souls Day

8:30 am & 7:00 pm

All Souls Day, the commemoration of the faithful departed, is celebrated on November 2 and is closely connected with November 1, the celebration of All Saints. Here at Resurrection, we will honor those who were buried from our church this past year during the All Souls Day Mass on Monday evening at 7:00 pm. We will speak their names and light a candle in their memory.

The celebration of All Souls Day is an opportunity to reflect on our own future and to celebrate those who have preceded us in death. It is a great profession of faith in the resurrection, certainly that of Jesus, but also the promise of our own future glory. In addition to the 7 pm Mass, there will be the usual 8:30 am Mass that day.
